This workshop is suitable for new or experienced encaustic artists.
In this one-day workshop you’ll learn encaustic basics, building depth, texture, and three-dimensionality in paintings that shine with magical luminosity. Explore collage, colouring, carving, layering, and texturing your encaustic surface with a variety of pigmented oil, wax, and pastel treatments.
Learn encaustic fundamentals: studio set up, safety, tools, techniques, materials and more.
